Senior citizens enjoying vacations has become a growing industry. Senior citizens want to enjoy their free time by traveling and not staying at home. They are looking for something different so there has developed specially organized tours, customized vacations and escorted and chauffeur driven tours. Popular overseas destinations include France, Italy and Spain. There are many well-known tourist attractions to explore.

Other attractions await your pleasure such as a 90 foot high, electronic canopy with spectacular sight and sound shows, a lion habitat, a 20,000 gallon saltwater aquarium, an indoor rainforest, a man made volcano that erupts every night and a laser light and water show. Seniors can find excellent dining and many discounts around the town.

Cruises can be a wonderful vacation, but as a senior, expenses can be a concern. You can still enjoy a cruise on a freight liner. These have destinations virtually anywhere around the world. You’ll enjoy casual dress, spacious, well-furnished cabins that are all located on upper decks, and small groups of passengers. You can enjoy their library, swimming pool, exercise room, a lounge, televisions and good deck space for walking. You can also meet with the officers and crew, spend time on the bridge and enjoy all the sights and beauty of the area.
