Snow birds are retired seniors that travel to warmer climates during the winter months. They are called snow birds because they only show up in the winter.
They may rent a condo or coach, or drive their own RV. They come every winter and leave in the spring. They are only there for a few months and then they are gone again. So many southern cities depend on these people for seasonal income. They have special programs and agendas set up just for them.
