Vacations for seniors are posted all over the Internet. Limitations depend upon the type of travel, the destination, and whether or not the traveler wants a quiet or an exciting vacation. Many of today’s seniors travel in RVs (motor homes) and have access to a large portion of the North American continent. Since you have your home with you, the only things you really need for travel are parking, fuel, and food and water.
If you don’t have the money for an expensive motor home, traveling by car to Latin America, Alaska or Canada can be extremely fun. Make sure you check out the motels and make your reservations ahead of time. One neat road trip would be to Yellowstone, then up through Flathead Valley and through Montana to Glacier Park -- you could then cross over into Canada. The park and the glaciers are amazing.
A cruise to Alaska or the Virgin Islands can be very exciting as well. As for air travel, you may choose any country in the world; perhaps Japan, Australia or Europe sound like interesting destinations. All these are great vacation destinations. There are many cheap or reasonable flights and motel packages available online at places like Travelocity and Expedia. Just search for cheap airfares and see what is available.
If you have the time and are low on money, you may find some exciting places to visit by trading homes with persons listed on Senior Homes Exchange. They may even have a car that you can exchange for to drive around the area. If this sounds exciting, pick a location and have fun.
