Senior citizens are always looking for a new place to vacation and modes of transportation to get there. There are many varieties of both. First you must decide what kind of vacation you want. A cruise would be a good choice and many offer senior discounts. A cruise will give you almost anything you can possibly want in a vacation. Absolutely everything is taken care of. Your lodging, food, gambling, music, and many other activities. There is 24 hour entertainment on a cruise ship and you have no packing and unpacking every few days. Seniors do not have to deal with many of the details that makes travel hard for them.

The Caribbean and Hawaii are both favorite places for seniors to vacation in. The Caribbean has a mild climate with a lot of sunshine and beautiful water, activities such as golf, and lots of peace and quiet. Hawaii is a tropical paradise and seniors love that. The unusual foods, gorgeous flowers and friendly people make it a perfect place to visit.

You could explore the United States for a whole year and not see it all. There are many fascinating places to visit. National parks are full of history and beauty. California, Florida and New England are great if you like beaches and beautiful water. The panhandle of Florida boasts that they have the Worlds Most Beautiful Beaches. Colorado has the Rockies with thick forests, beautiful streams and winding roads.
